7.7-Magnitude quake strikes Indonesia

On Wednesday morning, a 7.7 earthquake hit Indonesia's coast. The earthquake triggered 2 tsunamis and injured lots of people. The earthquake hit Simeulue island were two houses collapsed because of the shaking. The head of the police says that the quake lasted longer than a minute. After the quake, officials announced that there there was a tsunami alert. the tsunami's weren't very strong or dangerous. There hasn't been any aftershock. Indonesia is part of the "ring of fire", a place were many earthquakes eruptions happen.
