Summary
The science-fiction epic"Avatar" has surpassed "Titanic" as the highest grossing film of all time without inflation. Both films are directed and produced by James
Cameron. Something interesting is that "Avatar" has sold less tickets than "Titanic". It is interesting that it broke the record after only six weeks of being in theaters. Hollywood critics and analysts have estimated that "Avatar" may surpass the two billion dollar mark as soon as next week. What still is unsure is wether or not it would be nominated for any Academy Awards, tho many say that it will win the Best Movie.
